Welcome to American Industrial Rigging

American Industrial Rigging specializes in the relocation and erection of industrial machinery.

American Industrial Rigging was started in 1947 as James Norris Trucking.  James F. Norris was a fourth generation rigger who decided to head out on his own with a small straight truck and a seven thousand pound forklift.

In the years that followed, we have grown to own nine forklifts, three Semi-tractors and five trailers.

In 1992 James Norris Trucking officially changed its name to American Industrial Rigging to better reflect the services offered by our company.

Since the day it opened, American Industrial Rigging has been family owned and operated.  We are now run by fifth generation rigger Steve Norris and his son Steven.  As Steven takes over the company, we look forward to meeting the challenges of today’s economy and moving into the future.  Let us help move your company into the future too.
